What should you expectfrom me?

I believe a good development partnership should feel straightforward. You should know how I think, how I communicate and what I take responsibility for before we start.

• 01Can you work from a high-level requirement rather than a complete specification?+

  Yes. In fact, that is often where I add the most value. I can help turn an unclear requirement into a practical product and technical plan before development begins. I ask the questions that need answering, identify what actually needs to be built and then work toward a solution that makes sense for the product and the business.

• 02Do you only build what you're asked to build?+

  No. If I see a requirement that can be simplified, improved or approached differently, I'll raise it. Blindly implementing something that I know can be better doesn't help the client or the project. I prefer to understand the reason behind a requirement and then make a practical recommendation.

• 03Can you take ownership of an entire project?+

  Yes. Depending on the project, I can work across requirements, architecture, development, testing, deployment and ongoing technical delivery. My role isn't limited to writing code. I take responsibility for connecting the different parts of delivery and making sure the finished product actually works.

• 04What happens when requirements change?+

  Requirements change. That's normal in real projects. I first understand what changed and why, then assess the impact on scope, timeline and implementation. I communicate the implications clearly and work toward the most practical path forward rather than simply treating every change as a problem.

• 05Can an agency bring you in as an external development partner?+

  Yes. An agency can maintain the client relationship while I take responsibility for the technical delivery behind the scenes. I can work as an extension of an existing team or take end-to-end ownership of development, depending on what the project requires.

• 06Will you work directly with our client?+

  Yes, when required. I can work directly with the client, through the agency, or in a white-label arrangement depending on how the partnership is structured. The important thing for me is clear communication and a delivery model that works for everyone involved.

• 07What happens if something goes wrong after launch?+

  I don't consider deployment the end of the job. Production issues, fixes and technical follow-through are part of responsible delivery. When something goes wrong, I focus on understanding the problem, communicating clearly and getting it resolved rather than passing responsibility somewhere else.

• 08Why should we work with you instead of simply hiring another pair of hands?+

  Because I don't approach projects as a list of isolated tasks. I look at the interface, the product, the users, the business requirement and the technical delivery together, and I take responsibility for connecting those pieces.

• 09What does a good development partnership look like to you?+

  Trust, clarity and ownership. You should be able to give me the context, the objective and the responsibility and trust me to work through the details. I should be comfortable asking questions, challenging decisions when necessary and communicating problems early. When that relationship works, I become a reliable part of the delivery team.
